Dr. Sivakumar holds a BA (Honors) in Economics at St. Stephen’s College & a M.A and Ph.D from the Delhi School of Economics
As a consultant and resource person for World Bank he focused on water issues. He has also been an advisor to Asian Development Bank (Manila), Population Institute (NewYork), The Ford Foundation, Danish International Development Agency, Government of India, Indian Council of Medical Research & the Indian Council of Social Science Research, Government of Tamilnadu.
